Friends!

After reading The Rainbow Fish by by Marcus Pfister, we discussed friendship and then made our own friendship necklaces. We each got to pick out two friendship shells (found by Mrs. Fitzgerald and her dad at the beach!). We made our own necklace and then made a class friendship necklace that is hanging in our classroom!

St. George Firefighters

In September, the St. George Firefighters came to visit us during our unit on Community Helpers. We loved having the firefighters at our school. They taught us about fire safety and dressed up in their uniform to show us what they would look like if we saw them in a fire. Now we know what to expect and to not be scared! They also showed us many tools and of course- the fire truck!

Halfway There!

Can you believe your little one is half way through Kindergarten!? I don't know if I can! :) We have had a great first semester, and I'm eager to see how much we learn before moving on to 1st grade! Our school websites are not working, and I'm tired of waiting on the technology department, or whoever is in charge! I wanted to create a space where you can see some of the things going on in our classroom. These next few blogs are from our first semester of Kindergarten! Enjoy!
