Trains and Tigers and Children... Oh My!

In April, we took a field trip to the Baton Rouge Zoo. We had a great time riding the new train, checking out the new tiger exhibit and seeing all the different animals. Our class had the most parents come on the trip- ya'll are awesome! I don't know what I'm going to do without you next year!
All the monkeys waiting for the train ride!

E'Royal making sure he knows where to go and what to do at the zoo.

On the train! Come on conductor... let's get rollin!

There was no way we were waiting for the next train... we squeezed in as many as possible!

Check out the brand new engine!

The new tiger exhibit... how cool to be a tiger!

Looking for the tigers....

Baby rhino

The elephant was filling his trunk with water and then he would put it all in his mouth!

They wanted to stop the world from moving... I think they actually accomplished it!

Oh dear... how did they get back to school with us!? :)

Reading, Reading, Reading

As a homework project, the Kindergarten students made number books, counting objects one through ten and writing a sentence for each number. How creative they turned out! We shared them in our classroom and then met the other classes outside and shared with someone in another class... and listened to their books as well!
