Our Classroom Bear

This year I did something I've always wanted to do. When I was student teaching, the class had a bear that went home each weekend with a different student. They completed a few pages of a book with pictures and writings of their weekend. I bought our class bear in Page, Arizona on a trip to the Grand Canyon. Since he came from so far away, Page (who got his name from his "birthplace" :) is pretty special to me. I was honestly a little nervous about sending him home and something happening to him. I was pleasantly surprised! My kids thought the world of him and took such great care of him! I loved the stories written in the book, and from hearing stories from parents of the weekends. I love this book! Great job!!! (parents especially! :)
