We had a great time on March 2nd, Dr. Seuss' birthday. We listened to a first grader (one of my former students) read "The Cat in the Hat." She did a great job, and they loved watching the book on the big screen.
After reading "Green Eggs and Ham," we MADE them! They weren't too sure about that idea, but after making the eggs themselves, all but one student tried them! And most liked them! (there are a lot of pictures, but I couldn't leave anyone out :)
Mrs. Jackson, one of our wonderful clerks, came to read to us. She read several books that we had not heard of-- and she dressed up as the Cat in the Hat!
And the last treat of the day was made and brought by Myron's mom. She made us cookies to look like green eggs! Thank you so much!
