We just completed a unit on dinosaurs. We had a great time discovering new facts through books and students' previous knowledge (I was corrected on every pronunciation of dinosaurs' names!).
One activity we did was to look at the actual size of different dinosaurs' teeth and put them in order from the shortest to the tallest. Yikes!

We did another math activity with dinosaur cut-outs. The students had to put the numbers 0-5 in order and then place the correct number of dinosaur eggs (marshmallows :) on the number.

Dinosaurs were added to our block center, and they enjoyed making them houses and cages and all sorts of things!
