Colors!

We have been learning about colors! Primary colors, mixing colors, making secondary colors.... colors, colors, colors! It all started when we painted rectangles. Two short blue sides, and two long yellow sides make a rectangle... AND green paint!

Painting with blue and yellow paint- making GREEN!

After reading "Mouse Paint" by Ellen Stoll Walsh, we mixed primary colors to see what would happen. We recorded our predictions and then recorded what really happened. Watching the colors mix and change was pretty exciting!

The color wheel- with brown in the middle. We discovered mixing all 3 primary colors makes brown!

And then, we got to TASTE THE RAINBOW! We practiced graphing using Skittles!
